Fencing in the Romney’s
The sheep are getting more new fence. We built them a new
Pen earlier this spring, and now we are at it again. It will be nice to get them out into their new pasture once it is complete!

We are a small family farm raising Registered Romney sheep. We offer wool for needle felting and hand spinning, needle felting kits and unique needle felted art made from our Romney wool. Felting 101
So how do these soft fluffy fibers turn into something as solid and dense as felt fabric? Wool fibers have tiny crimps all along their length. This is what allows them to wrap around each other and hold tight during spinning in order to make yarn. These crimps also allow them to become hopelessly tangled among each other in order to create felt. The tricky part is getting it to turn into the shape you want!
