It won’t let me post a link.. There is a thread in the general forum about resizing, “How to reduce your picture size”, it says to go to picresize(dot)com (sorry it doesn’t let me post the link), upload it and resize there

Thank you for the input! I bought some sheep locks to try and I was also thinking of trying some cotton yarn, brushing it beforehand to separate the strands and maybe sewing it on.. I have a niece who loves horses and I am sure that she would not be able to keep a brush away from the mane ๐Ÿ™‚

I asked a similar question on the prefelted balls course forum, the reply there might be helpful ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you very much for the quick reply! If I have a chance to try out sewing the mold I will definitely share my results, it seems like something that might work but you never know..

    Hi!

I’m new here and this is one of the topics that I was really interested in. This is a great idea and I am hoping it can help me with a large project I have in mind. I wanted to ask though if there is any danger of mold or other similar issues developing if you make these too big? What I mean is may it take so long to dry that it becomes a problem. And how do I know when they are dry all the way through? Or would it be better to use many smaller balls instead of one big one? How would you go about connecting them?

Also I had this idea of sewing a “mould” for the wool in the shape that I want from fabric (maybe a base for a neck and head for example). Do you think that would work or would this only work for round shapes?

    Thank you!

    Veronika
