I’m all for walking in a winter wonderland, but let’s face it: the Nome Schoolhouse is a much warmer place to build a snowman! And the best part is, your snowman will never melt.
I’m excited to offer my Snowman Felting Class on January 10, 2022. This is actually my easiest class, so even students who are completely new to needle felting can make an adorable little snowman. They’re always thrilled with their results!
What better way to have some winter fun while staying toasty? As I always say, cooler weather is just perfect for needle-felting as it’s such a cozy, relaxing art form. I think all the fiber arts make you feel so snug and homey while you craft such unique creations, from animals to whimsical characters such as snowmen and gnomes! Needle felting is a lovely activity to share with friends and family as well!
We’ve been enjoying the fully restored Nome Schoolhouse this holiday season. It’s already become a wonderful, creative gathering place where we can celebrate our community. I’m eager to keep the Nome educational tradition alive by hosting more needle felting workshops. So, I hope you’ll join me in the New Year and build a snowman with us.
If you’re not able to make it, don’t worry: I have all the supplies in the Bear Creek Felting shop for you to make an entire snow family! You can buy the essential snowman kit we’ll be using in the workshop. (Note: if you are registering for the class, supplies are included.) I also have a knitting pattern for a miniature hat and scarf, along with Christmas wool, so your snowman can be festive! OR get the kit and pattern bundled together here as well as extra materials to build even more snowmen.
I can’t wait to see what you create this holiday season.
