Can you believe it? Another Christmas is finally here. (Can’t you just hear those Charlie Brown kids singing, “Christmas time is here…”?)
We’ve finished up the work of the year and we’re settling down with our families to relax and celebrate. We’re drinking hot cocoa and egg nog, hanging our stockings, and dreaming by the sparkling lights of the tree. As we begin our peaceful Christmas celebrations, we’re hoping you are taking some time with your family and doing the same.
Even the animals are excited to take some time off. The sheep are finally done with the breeding season and are getting ready to greet Santa as he makes the rounds on Christmas Eve. This past fall we finished building a new barn, which is where the sheep are going to be housed for the winter, all cozy and tucked into their breeding pens.
It’s actually crazy to think that right after Christmas, we’ll be moving into the new year. Is it really going to be 2023! I cannot believe it. I’m excited to see all of the goodness that the new year has to bring to the Nome Schoolhouse!
