Giving Hearts Day, North Dakota and Minnesota’s 24-hour charity fundraising event, is on February 9th this year. It’s the perfect day to get your give on (or something like that) as you jump into helping our non-profit, the Eweniversity.
If you’re a fan of the fiber arts or just looking for a worthy non-profit to help, our Eweniversity is the perfect cause. We host events, classes, retreats, getaways, and more, helping to bring the lost art of fiber back. We’re even working on the launch of the Fiber Flock, an educational program that teaches people all about where fibers come from, processes, and caring for animals. We’re really, really excited about this venture and can’t wait to see where it takes the Nome Schoolhouse!
Are you ready to hear about the Eweniversity Giving Hearts Day fundraiser? On Giving Hearts Day, February 9th, we’re holding a LIVE felted heart garland project. Purchase our Heart Garland Kit now at Eweniversity.org (all proceeds to go to the Eweniversity) to be ready to join us on the big day.
When February 9th rolls around, we’re going to join together at the Nome Schoolhouse (all are welcome!) to needle-felt the Heart Garlands as a community. We’ll be live streaming the event on our Ewetube channel so you can also join in and felt along at home. We also encourage participants to post about the event and the Nome Eweniversity non-profit on their social media platforms as a way to bring awareness and more donations in!
