Accountable2You is an accountability software that you can use to moniter and hold accountable the members of your family when they are using the internet. Each computer and device in your home can have Accountable2You activated on it allowing assigned accountability partners the ability to view reports for what has been viewed. The reports cover all activity on Windows, Mac, Android, Linux and Chromebook. Activities on an iphone, ipad, and ipod are monitered through a custom designed browser.
The accountablitiy partner can also be notified immediately through text or email if one of a family member has stumbled on something questionable.
This internet monitering software also allows you to track the devices using GPS, where it is located now as well as it’s history.
Accountable2You allows you to set time limits for device use, and will let you know when they have gone over their time limit. If a device is used during the time limit alert hours, the accountability partner is notified and can see all activity that took place during that time frame.
It’s important to note that this is an accountability program, not a web filter. The website recommends other programs for filtering.

Over the years I have tried to stay in control of internet use and what is getting into our home and minds through our computers and devices. I have set heavy restrictions on phones and computers that cause distress and are not very convenient for all involved. I have filtered out as much as I can and usually there are some bad feelings between me and a child because they feel they aren’t able to access anything online.
When given the opportunity to review this product I jumped at it. My kids are excited to be able to finally have some freedoms on the internet while still being held accountable for what they view. It’s maybe even possible to say that they are relieved to know they have an escape in case anything questionable should pop up and they possibly wouldn’t be as tempted to click on anything questionable.
I feel this plan offers my family freedom and gives us the opportunity to talk about questionable things that have popped up and how to deal with them. They soon will be out on their own and while this plan would still allow me or someone else the ability to be their accountability partner, I feel this is a great opportunity to teach them about the dangers while keeping them safe at the same time.
I find the small business plan and the group plan would be beneficial as well, keeping each other accountable at work or in a church group.
