The Sheep at Bear Creek

Registered Romney Sheep

We have been raising Romney sheep since 2006, starting out with 4 Registered Romney ewes and have grown the flock to around 100 head.  We more recently added Blue Faced Leicester, Cormo and Wensleydale and hope to grow these flocks as well.

We raise our sheep mostly for their wool.  Our goal is the production of beautiful fleeces specializing in superior felting quality and top-notch breeding stock.  The wool is used in my needle felting business, in my art sculptures as well as the DIY needle felting kits that I design. Our children enjoy showing our sheep at our County Fair.

Our breeding stock is registered with ARBA (American Romney Breeders Association)

Currently we are keeping all of our ewe lambs to grow our flock.  If you are interested in any Rams we may have available please contact me.  We also have wethers for sale for your fiber flock.

The wool that I use in all of my kits and art is raised right here at Bear Creek where we are specifically focusing on raising and breeding our sheep to have the best wool for felting. Once customers needle felt with our wool they are convinced that it is the best.
