1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place.

  • Your spot is confirmed once the deposit is received.

  • Final payment is due 30 days before the retreat start date.

  • If payment is not completed on time, your reservation may be released.

2. Retreat Guarantee & Travel Planning

  • Retreats require a minimum number of participants to run.

  • You will receive confirmation when the retreat is guaranteed.

  • Please wait to book flights or non-refundable travel until you receive confirmation.

  • If the retreat cannot proceed due to low enrollment or issues on our end, you will receive a full refund.

  • If you’re ready to book travel, feel free to check with Teresa to confirm the retreat is moving forward.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations 30+ days before the retreat start date: refund minus the deposit.

  • Cancellations within 30 days: no refund, regardless of the reason.

  • If we must cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all money paid.

4. Transfers

  • You may transfer your spot to another person.

  • Requests must be made in writing and approved.

5. Force Majeure

Bear Creek Felting is not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events outside our control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Travel restrictions

  • Illness or emergencies

Refunds will be issued as reasonably possible.

6. What’s Included / Not Included

Included (depending on package):

  • Lodging (all-inclusive packages)

  • All meals by Chef Libbie

  • Felting instruction

  • All materials and supplies

  • Optional evening farm campfire (weather permitting)

  • Workspace

  • Optional hiking/kayaking opportunities

Not Included:

  • Flights

  • Transportation outside designated times

  • Travel insurance

  • Optional activities

  • Personal expenses

  • Bedding/towels for State Park lodging

7. Participant Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for arranging your travel.

  • No refunds are given for late arrivals or missed retreat time.

  • Please share dietary needs or medical conditions when registering.

  • We accommodate health-related dietary restrictions when possible, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

  • Respectful behavior toward other guests, staff, and property is required.

8. Instructor Availability

If Teresa becomes unavailable due to illness or emergency, we will seek to reschedule or issue refunds as appropriate.

9. Itinerary Changes

We may make small adjustments to the schedule as needed. Any changes will be communicated promptly.

10. Liability

By participating, you acknowledge:

  • Felting involves sharp tools and participation is at your own risk.

  • Bear Creek Felting is not liable for injuries, illness, loss, or damage except in cases of proven negligence.

11. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unexpected issues, including:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Travel delays

  • Trip cancellation

12. Media & Materials

All teaching materials and retreat content are the property of Bear Creek Felting and may not be reproduced or sold.

13. Privacy

We only collect personal information needed to process and manage your registration.
