Thimtec Thimble Tape – Reusable Needle Felting Finger Protector

For years, customers have asked me why I didn’t carry needle felting finger protectors for needle felting.

The answer was simple… I didn’t like any of them.

Most finger protectors felt bulky, uncomfortable, too tight, too loose, or they took away from the actual experience of felting. I like to feel the wool while I work, and many protectors made detailed felting feel awkward and clumsy.

I only sell products that I personally use and genuinely enjoy myself, so I simply never found one I wanted to recommend… until now.

Then I discovered Thimtec Thimble Tape.

Unlike traditional finger protectors, Thimtec sticks to itself — not to your skin and not to your wool. That means:

To use, simply wrap the tape around your finger and nail with slight tension, then gently squeeze and mold it to fit your finger shape comfortably. It stays secure without cutting off circulation.
