Over the years, I developed my felting techniques, and grew my flock to 300 sheep and counting, providing top-quality wool for my felting projects.
In 2008 I started selling my creations, teaching local felting classes, and even creating beginner supply kits.
As I heard so many crafters asking questions and craving a sense of community, I decided in 2017 to create the Bear Creek Needle Felting Academy. This membership suits all skill levels of felting, and offers a sense of community. I am personally in the community feed every single day providing feedback and answering questions.

I created the Bear Creek Needle Felting Academy to serve as a collective to share felting techniques while also offering a community for needle felters all over the world.
My passion for wool began when my daughter and I decided it was our favorite to use for knitting. We then purchased a small flock of Romney sheep with the intent of learning to spin our own wool yarn. Shortly after purchasing the flock, I was introduced to needle felting, and my journey continued from there.
