You can call him a Water Buffalo or a Cape Buffalo. Since I was on an African Wildlife kick I started out calling him a Cape Buffalo. I just started reading “The Land I Lost” by Huynh Quang Nhuong to my kids and now I call him a Water Buffalo named Tank. 🙂
