Meet Winnie the Pooh—one of our sweetest brown ewes whose fleece is as charming as her name. This year’s shearing gave us the most beautiful CVM (California Variegated Mutant) wool, now available in small .5 oz bundles for needle felting.

Winnie’s fleece is a warm, natural brown with subtle variations in shade, giving it a depth and character you won’t find in dyed fibers. When felted, it brings your projects to life—perfect for woodland animals, deer, and other creations where realism matters.

This CVM wool isn’t quite as quick to felt as our regular Bear Creek felting wool, so we recommend using it to add natural color, shading, and finishing touches rather than as a base. Its variegated tones create dimension that makes your work stand out.

From Winnie’s back to our mill and into your hands, this fiber is part of a limited batch—when it’s gone, it’s gone. If you fall in love with it (and we think you will), be sure to order enough for your entire project.
