All of my kits are designed for beginners. You will be able to complete these kits even if you have never even heard of felting before. Beginners can complete any of the kits but I have ordered them in order of difficulty here:

You can learn how to make the more advanced sculptures in the Needle Felting Academy.
You can find the courses that are currently available in the Academy here. I will be adding new courses to the academy continually, if you do not see what you are looking for now there is a good chance it will be available in the future especially if it is a sculpture you found in the gallery. There are more courses available in the academy that are not a specific animal. There are courses teaching different techniques as well.
Do I have to be a member of the Needle Felting Academy before I can purchase a kit?
Needle Felting Kits The regular needle felting kits are designed for beginners and contain everything you need including detailed instructions. Anyone can purchase these kits.
Needle Felting Academy Course kits The Needle Felting Academy Course kits do not include instructions because they are the materials needed for the video courses that you have access to when you are a member of the Academy. You can only purchase these kits if you are a member of the Academy. Annual members to the Academy receive a discount on all kits. All of these kits specifically say they are only for the Academy courses.

What is the Needle Felting Academy?
The Needle Felting Academy is a membership community offering you access to an ever growing variety of VIDEO Courses that will show you how to needle felt the BEST sculptures you’ve ever felted. Learn new techniques, chat with needle felting artists from all over the world and I will be available to personally answer your needle felting questions in the forum.
Do I get complete access to everything right away?
If you join at the Core level you will have access to all the core courses, the academy forums, the private academy Facebook Group and the ability to personally ask me questions and get feedback on your projects. The Core academy includes the most popular courses from beginner up to advanced. All the basics to get you started are included and to help you advance. You also have the option to add on extra courses at 50% off.
If you join at the All Access level you will have access to everything included in the core level as well as all the add on courses and any new courses I add while you are a member.
As soon as you join you have access to all the courses included in your level. You can work through them at your own pace and retake courses anytime you wish.
Are the courses at specific times, or are they videos that I will be able to access at my convenience and pause, review and continue as I work?
The courses are videos that you can pause, review and continue as you work and you have access to them at any time during your membership.
Is there any limit as to how many courses I can access over the length of my membership?
As a Core Member you have access to all the courses included in the core membership and the opportunity to purchase add on classes at 50% off.
As an All Access member you will have access to all the courses throughout the length of your membership even the add on courses. There is no limit.
Is a yearly membership for a calendar year, or for twelve months from the time I enroll?
After my initial yearly membership, if I were to enroll for another year, would there be new courses or only the ones I have already had access to?
New courses are added all the time. You will have access to the new courses as they become available as well as the old ones.
Does the membership allow members to communicate with each other?
Yes. There is a forum as well as a members only Facebook Group where you can communicate with other members, share pictures, files etc. I am in the forums as well to answer questions and offer feedback on your work.
Are the materials for the courses provided with the membership?
No. A materials list is provided for each course with the amount and colors of wool needed as well as other supplies. You are welcome to source your own materials, use what you have on hand or purchase a course kit from Bear Creek Felting. Academy Members receive a discount on all felting supplies.
I would like to become a member of the Felting Academy, but.. I'm from another country, Is this possible? .
The Academy is all online, the courses and forum are all accessible from anywhere. It is in English. I do offer the course supplies which are not necessary for you to purchase but are available for your convenience and I do ship to other countries. You can find the materials locally as well, whatever works best for you. We currently have members from all over the world!
I want to know if in your video academy, you have only animals or do you have other crafts.

Do you do custom orders?
That said, I do take requests. I love to hear what my customers would like me to make. I can’t guarantee that I will make it but sometimes I am inspired by a request. I keep a list of requests and check it often when deciding what I would like to make next. If you have pictures that is even more inspiring.
I do remake past sculptures. For example I have made 9 giraffes, 7 moose, 865 snowmen etc. 😉
I post all my new works on my Facebook page, plus I send out an email newsletter.

How do I access the Academy?
Right after you complete your membership purchase you will be redirected to the Academy. You will also receive an email with a link to the Academy. The email will also tell you what you need to do to get started. If you do not receive any emails check your spam folder. The emails are very helpful in helping you to get started in the Academy. To access the Academy in the future click on my account in the top right hand corner and then click on the button that says “Go to the Academy” Click on the image below to watch the video.

If I cancel my membership can I join again at a later time?
Yes, you can cancel and resubscribe at any time. Prices may increase. You stay locked in at the current price as long as you remain a member even when prices increase.
