It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over! Here at Bear Creek, we’re saying goodbye to sunny days and hello to crisp fall weather. It will be nice to cool off a bit! As I break out my sweaters and start prepping the farm for autumn, I’m often more inspired to work on my needle felting projects. I continually add courses to the Academy because there are just so many wonderful things you can make with needle felting! We go through basic and advanced techniques, how to choose wool and needle types, and patterns for all sorts of animals, plants, and objects. I recommend following along with my tutorials so you can practice. Before long, you’ll be designing and felting your own whimsical creations!
You may choose from two Academy membership options:
Core includes access to our discussion forum, Facebook group, and the Core library of video courses, where I teach you the basic techniques and how to create your own menagerie of adorable animals, including penguins, bunnies, dragons, and more! You can always add on courses for specific projects, such as my tutorials for pigs, cows, donkeys, and even succulents, as well as my DIY Guide to Dyeing Natural Fibers. Core members can purchase these courses for 50% off, and they also get 15% off felting supplies and kits in our shop, including Members Only products, such as curly wool from Gotland Sheep.
All Access gives you the option to take my entire library of courses, including everything that you would add-on to the Core Academy. You essentially get all the courses for a bundled price, plus 15% off supplies and kits.
If you’d like to start with just a couple of courses, choose from the a la carte menu of needle felting courses. You do not need to be an Academy member to join these courses. I have options for both beginners, such as my Sheep course, and more advanced felters, such as my Baby Elephants course.
